Don't Miss Out on the Spectacular "Sunrise-Sunset" Exhibition - Now Extended!
The "Sunrise Sunset'' exhibition at Sommer Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv, investigates the cyclical nature of light and darkness and our relationship to the environment and time, while capturing the essence of nature's dualities through captivating paintings, drawings, sculptures, and photography by renowned artists Katherine Bradford, Yaniv Drey, EJ Hauser, Eran Nave, Tal R, Moshe Roas, Ugo Rondinone, Yehudit Sasportas, and Rona Yefman.
From Bradford's vibrant floating figures and R's radiant suns to Sasportas's mystical nocturnal desert scenes and Rondinone's evocative sun cycle paintings, each of the artworks presents a duality, shining light on the opposing but interdependent aspects of the self. Themes of looking inward and outward, balancing between knowledge and ignorance, revelation and concealment are abundant.
This exhibition is a poetic celebration of the eternal dance between opposing yet interdependent forces, much like the timeless struggle between the sun and moon in Kabbalistic mythology. The exhibition was featured in the latest issue of Kan Magazine, and has now been extended until September 21.
